Emblazon is a new group of authors who write for readers
aged 11 to 14 has just launched a new blog dedicated to the art and science of
writing for this special audience.
“Some call them upper middle grade; others call them low young adult. They’re somewhere in the middle and can lean either way. We call them Tweens,” the group states on its About page.
The members will post about some aspect of reading and
writing literature for Tweens on the first three Wednesdays of every month. “The
fourth Wednesday is your turn. That’s when we host a monthly feature called
Tween the Weekends.”
As part of the launch, Emblazon is giving away signed
paperback and e-book copies of stories by member authors for Liking the books
and authors. Check out their Launch Giveaway page for details.
Good luck to the Emblazoners in their drive to “write
stories on the hearts of children.”
Make an appointment to visit their blog every Wednesday at emblazoners.com.
Hi, are you still doing Tween the Weekends?
ReplyDelete(I know it's not the 4th Wed.)
Apparently, they're not. The blog seems to have disappeared.
DeleteOkay, my mistake. It looks like they are doing Tween the weekends, but the URL has changed. They're no longer on Wordpress, but have their own site: http://emblazoners.com/tween-the-weekends/
